Barrett's frist trip to the zoo was a success! We spent the day with the Besancons, and Barrett loved seeing Quinn and Caroline!
Barrett was only awake for the second half of our little adventure. And he's a little too little to be able to focus on the animals. He had no idea what I was pointing too ... actually, the highlight of his day was laughing at me shaking some monkey grass that he was examining. But it didn't matter. We had so much fun! And I loved watching him look at and explore an environment that he had never seen before.

This kid has so many expressions ... but this was a new one! Perplexed by the sea otters I guess? I love the faces that he makes!
We had a great day! And we are now members of the zoo, so we can go back as many times as we want! Just in time for spring. So fun!
