Disney Surprise!

Matt had a meeting planned in Orlando over Father's Day Weekend, so we decided I would take Barrett to meet him there.  And we spent the weekend at Disney World.  (Because that's what most sane people do, plan a vacation at the same time you are moving out of your house!)

Barrett is such a good big brother, we thought it would be fun to make our Disney Weekend about him and make it a weekend of "yes!"  If he hadn't been so grumpy from skipping all his naps, that plan might have worked better.  But we gave it a good try!

We spilled the beans when we landed, and started as bright and early as you can with a preschooler who isn't napping the next day.

Pirates of the Caribbean was closed for repairs, but right next to it was Pirate Adventure.  Each pirate gets his own treasure map to look for clues.  He had SO MUCH fun doing this!  Girls get to meet princesses at Disney World, and boys get to play pirates!  So fun!

The next day we went to Disney Hollywood Studios.  Barrett LOVED seeing all the characters there; especially his Disney Jr. pals.

The heat, mixed with rain, created a nice steamy feeling.  Wishfully hoping for a break from the heat,  we stood by the Frozen Summer set up and mad our own dance party.

Snow!

That night we headed back to the hotel for the best ice cream I've ever had in my life at Beaches and Cream.  If you haven't been there, you definitely need to check it out.

We ended our trip by sleeping in and exploring the our hotel.  And of course, eating more treats.  Because it's Disney World!
