Baby Showers

Oh my goodness! Baby showers are so much fun! Especially when YOU are the one that's pregnant ... you can eat whatever you want! :o)

We feel so blessed to have so many people celebrating with us as we get ready to meet our little man. All of the presents have been washed, folded, hung up in the closet, and set up in the nursery. Which makes waiting for him to come seem like an eternity! But I have a feeling he is going to be worth the wait ... only one more month to go!

Below are a few of my favorite pictures from all of the showers. Thank you again for making us feel so loved and so blessed.

Barrett's First Aggie Game

This weekend we went to Barrett's first Aggie Game! It will probably be his only game of the season, so I'm glad we made it to one! I spent most of the game laughing at how huge my feet were! The walking (although I had to take the elevator up to the second deck!) and the humidity made my feet so huge! Mom and I couldn't stop laughing.

I can't wait for next football season when I get to dress Barrett up in baby Aggie gear! (Which we now own thanks to my mom's sweet friends who threw us a shower this weekend.)
This weekend was also a milestone for Matt ... his first SMU game! :o)

Tummy Games

Barrett was an active little one last night! My tummy was dancing all over the place. Matt was trying to feel the baby move, but he decided to stop dancing as soon as Matt put his hand on my stomach. Then he started all over again! We thought he probably had the hiccups, but he was moving a little bit more than that.

Matt started pushing on different parts of my tummy, and wherever Matt pushed, Barrett kicked back. He did this for a LONG time! It was so hard for me to stay still and not start laughing because I knew if I moved everything would have stopped. Matt was sooo excited! I believe his words were "That's the coolest thing I've ever done in my life! I'm playing games with my son and he's not even BORN yet!"

He had a hard time winding down to go to sleep after that. Every time I looked at him he had a grin on his face. Even this morning he woke up talking about "the game" from last night. That's definitely the most interaction Matt's been able to have with the baby this whole pregnancy ... usually he just misses all the activity by a couple of seconds.

Waiting for Baby!

We are so excited and cannot WAIT for this baby to get here. Right now all we can do is wait. Well, wait and watch him grow big and strong!
