4th of July Celebrations

We had the loooooongest, best summer weekend.  The kids and I went on a scavenger hunt, and Barrett couldn't get enough of our new discoveries.  We found a demonstration of glass blowing.  And he was loving watching how it all works.

Too Interested to Turn Around

And the blacksmith has his doors open.  So we walked right inside and made ourselves at home.

Keeping with the theme of new discoveries.... we found the best pizza place!
Right in our neighborhood.

My Girls!
I love this picture Matt captured. Wish you could see both their faces.  Still a cute mommy moment.

The next morning (and in the same clothes!) ready for haircuts!
This time, EVERYONE got a haircut.

The Best "After" Picture I Could Get

Next on the Weekend-O-Fun Agenda: Dinner with our cousins for Jordan's birthday.

Cuties
Don't worry Barrett ... there's a new boy coming to play with you soon!

The next day (told you the birthday parties were going to keep coming!!!)  We experiences something truly magical.  The kids got to ride unicorns!

And then the ACTUAL 4th of July Celebrations began.  After a little swim time ...

.... we went to our local Fireworks Festival

Nervous the WHOLE night about the THOUGHT of Fireworks

To end the holiday weekend, we were treated with tiny milkshakes at lunch.
Hamburgers and Milkshakes .... the perfect way to end an All-American-Weekend!

Cheers 'Merica
