1st Day Of School!

It came.  The day came that I have simultaneously been waiting for and dreading.  Our first day of school.

I am so excited for him because he's going to:
 learn how to make friends,
avoid having to wait on somebody to take care of babies in order to pay attention to him, play with kids his own age,
and start learning in a structured environment.

But I am so nervous for him and sad because:
I know how shy he is,
he actually helps me a lot with the babies,
he's still learning how to play with kids his own age,
and he's never really been in a structured environment before.

I know he will be fine.  I know he will love it.  But when did he stop being my baby?

We look a million pictures before we left the house this morning!  I think Matt and I both had some nervous energy we were trying to get through ... without showing him that we were nervous too!

And then we left the house :)

Little One did GREAT walking into school.  He wanted to hold his lunch box, his backpack, and his nap mat all by himself.

And this is how I left him ....
 Ugh.  Precious Little Heart.
Just a little unsure about what to do.

The twins came home and napped, ate, and played.  Then it was pick up time!

Dressed and Ready to Get Big Brother!

He is Excited to See Them Too!

Looks Like He Had Fun!

Missed Him!
