How did we get here? How did this happen so fast?
I thought I might be more emotionally prepared when this day came. As sad as I am about our "baby days" being behind us ... I'm equally as excited about everything that he is going to experience this year.
Barrett has been SO excited about starting kindergarten, but then came Meet the Teacher. He was so nervous, I didn't think I was going to get him out of the door.

It's possible I didn't take ENOUGH pictures on the first day of school!
I was so proud of him. He was so excited. And walked right in, sat down, and basically waved us out of the room.

Soon after the school year started, PTO hosted a family picnic on the playground. It was so cute to see Barrett playing with all of his new friends. The only time I was able to get any of the kids to stay still long enough to take a picture while they were getting their faces painted.

Everyday the twins ask where Barrett is during lunch time. So after a few weeks - and after we let him get settled into his new routine - we all went to have lunch with the kindergartners in the cafeteria.
Safe to Say ... Everyone Was Happy
