10 Months

I feel like I didn't have much to update last month.  But this month is a WHOLE different story.  The girls' have been hitting new milestones, they are getting into everything, and the holiday season has begun!

Parker finally started crawling, and that sweet girl is wasting no time.  She is just as fast as her sister, and loves to follow her around the house.

So Proud of Herself

Both girls started waving "hi" and "bye." Parker loves to give kisses, and Payton loves to clap and wave.  Parker saw the reaction we keep giving Pay each time she waved, and she started working on clapping herself.  Payton decided it was time to start standing on her own, and they both love to pull up on the furniture and climb.  Payton can figure out how to get down, but sweet Parker gets stuck and panics when she can't move.  Payton cries when she tries to pull up on Mommy, and I don't always react right away to pick her up.

What?!?!?  Girl .... SLOOOOW Down!

Playing Couch with Sister

As always, Barrett entertains these two on a daily basis.  He is the funniest person in the world to these two.  Lately, Parker is the one that giggles at him the most. She thinks he's the funniest person ever.

Love Being Close to Big Brother ... And Shoes.  We Love Shoes

They had so much fun on their first Halloween:

The Wilson Girls

We Love London!

They have also started eating most of their meals in their big girl high chairs. The love to pick up puffs, bread, peas, bananas ... anything they can do themselves.  But they also love their pureed veggies and are exploring lots of few fruits and yogurt.  Once they get more teeth, we will be able to eat more.  So far, Payton just has her bottom two and Parker has her 4 front teeth. (Which means we have been teething, teething, teething this month.  Ready for more teeth to come in!)

Parker likes to eat while sitting backwards in her high chair. While Payton prefers to stand in her chair while eating. I have a feeling meals will never quite be the same around here!

Barrett Vacuuming WHILE His Sisters Eat

The weather took a nasty turn and we started experiencing freezing weather in November! It even snowed a bit one night.  I didn't even realize I didn't have any super warm clothes for the girls.  I thought we would have time to ease into the colder weather. But apparently, fall had other plans.

  • the look on Parker's face when she figures out how to do something
  • the guilty look on Payton's face when she's wondering if we are watching her
  • the way Payton whips her head around to see if we saw her pull herself up ~ and the smile that follows
  • the way Parker will have an entire conversation with you through spitting
  • the way Payton smiles and gets exited when she raises up on her knees or stands up on her own
  • how Parker rolls her wrists when she tires to waves
  • Payton's high fives
  • Parker's baby kisses
  • how frequently Parker laughs and giggles at things around her
