So far .... LOVING this holiday season. Having a child to share the holidays with is something indescribable. But having THREE children to celebrate a day of giving thanks is something on a whole different level. When I really stop the think about all the blessings in my life, each one of our kids tops my list.
Barrett, I'm thankful for your sweet, kind heart. I'm thankful for how sweetly you say "I Love You Mommy," And for our storytime each night before you go to bed. I know my days are numbered where you will let me spend this precious time with you every night. And that makes it even sweeter. You are the little boy that made me a mommy, and I will forever be thankful for that.
Parker, I am thankful for your enthusiasm and the giggles you bring into the house everyday. And I am thankful for the snuggles to you give to me everyday. Again, I know my baby snuggle days are numbered. So I always try to put you in your crib after your sister because I know I can take that extra few seconds to steal some Parker snuggles.
Payton, I'm thankful for the love you pour into me everyday. I don't think anybody in my whole life has loved me as much as you love me. Every time I try to put you down, you cling to me with all your might. You love playing with your toys, as long as Mommy is right next to you. But what I am especially thankful for is the look on your face when I walk into a room. You're face fills with excitement, even if you just saw me 30 seconds ago.
We spent Thanksgiving at Gamma and Poppy's house this year.

I may or may not have gotten a little emotional about leaving these seats behind at Kyle Field. We have sat in these same seats since before I can remember.
We place bets with each other about when my uncle is going to leave the game. I don't think I've actually seen him during the 4th quarter. We have our "spot" where we all go to talk during halftime.
Kyle used to wear and inflatable ATM helmet to the game each week, and it's one of our favorite stories to tell about him as a kid.
My grandpa used to sit on the seat on the aisle. Same seat every game. And when we rounded the corner to walk up the stairs to get to our seats, his face would light up. He never knew exactly who was coming to the game each week, but he loved spending time with us there. My grandpa has been gone for a while now, but the memory of him and those seats will always be there.
None of my memories have anything to do with actual football. Clearly. Just family memories. Now Kyle Field is going through a (much needed) renovation. Next year our seats are going to be gone. Next year our seats are going to be new, and exciting, and the place where our kids will make memories going to games with their grandparents. But this is the last time that I will sit in these exact seats. And I love that all 5 of were there for the last game of the season. So I may have gotten a little picture happy.
