It finally came! The day we had been hoping would come! These kiddos know how to have Christmas fun. I'm not sure who is walking way from this season with more memories: them or me.
We laid low on Christmas Eve. And got plenty of rest of the long night ahead. Then we attempted to took pictures in front of the Christmas tree.

Taking Notes Is Important ;)
Before We Lost Control
There's just something about my babies holding these candles. They don't yet understand the significance of the lights as a symbol of Jesus being a light in this world. But every single time - it brings tears to my eyes. And every sing time I reflect on what a big responsibility it is to bring these littles closer to Jesus as they grow up. Christmas really is magical.
Photo Opp!
If here is an opportunity to take a family picture, I'm going to take it! Even if we get a couple of awkward smiles in the process.
We spend the rest of the evening at Nana and Papa's for a Christmas Eve Celebration.

Not My Best Angle ... Cool Story Though
This quilt was made by my kids great-great-grandmother. We were given several objects that she either owned or made herself. It's possible I tried not to cry when we opened this gift. I love family history, and I'm so happy to get to share this with the kids. So cool.
Back at home, we had one more job to do before we set out milk and cookies for Santa.
