Life With Twin Toddlers

I have loved these past few months!  We have been busy, and traveling, and sick, and trying to give up naps.  BUT.  Watching the twins and their personalities grow has been so much fun. They are so different from each other

Story Time with Daddy

Payton loves her lovie ("ya-ya") so much that it's become an emotional attachment of her.  Sometimes we can't even finish dinner because she's crying and screaming for her ya-ya.  I love how she walks around the house with her lovie in one hand and Parker's lovie in the other, trying to give it to her sister.  But now that Parks doesn't usually take it, Pay has decided that both loves are hers for the keeping.  And she screams when we take away her sister's ya-ya.

These two still crack me up when they are playing in their cribs instead of sleeping.  They don't cry, and eventually they fall asleep, so I just let them play until the make themselves tired.

On this particular day, Parker fell asleep just as soon as Payton was ready to wake up.  As a result, Pay was ready to get up and play while her sister was snoozing.  When I walked in their room:

I love playing with these two.  And watching them explore and learn. They are really soaking everything in these days, and it is SO MUCH fun to watch!

Both Twinkies have a fascination with the Time-Out chair.  If I lose one, chances are she's in the chair.  Probably because they see their brother sitting in it so often! Wait your turn girls, you too will be spending your fair share of time in that chair.  I PROMISE.

They girls have been going back and forth between needing 1 and 2 naps during the day.  So I finally gave in and we tried just taking an afternoon nap.
Maybe We Aren't Quite Ready!

One day I ventured out by myself with all the kiddos to go the aquarium.  It's not usually crowded during the week, so I was able to take the twins our of their stroller to walk around a little bit.  What happened next?  They took off in different directions!  I finally got them both in the same place to look at some fish together and walk through the shark tunnel at the same time.
