It's Baseball Season!!! We've been wanting to sign Barrett up for a sports team .... well ... since he was born. But he wasn't old enough. And then it wasn't the right timing. We thought about signing him up for soccer, but the kid seriously dislikes people making him run. So we figured that probably wasn't the best fit. And then we had some friends that were putting together a Blastball team, and we jumped on it. Even though the games are at 8 a.m. every Saturday morning for a while. We decided it was worth a few early mornings to give him the experience of playing on a team.

And then the dreaded first early Saturday game day rolled around.

Ok. So the activity isn't super fast paced. But when something DOES happen, it's pretty cute!

We ended up going to one of our teammate's houses for lunch and a play date. Nobody knew what to do with the rest of our day because we were awake so early! So we turned the day into a play date.
Our new house is close to our new friend Braxton. And his twin sisters. It's been so fun getting to know this family more, especially since their family dynamic is so similar to ours.
