This is Halloween ... Week

We had so much fun prepping for Halloween this year!  Everyone is old enough to kind of understand the concepts of both dressing up AND Trick-or-Treating.

The ONE day in October it was semi-cool outside, we threw on our long sleeve Halloween clothes and went outside to take pictures.  Proof that it actually was a below 80 degrees ... that one day!

Next came Grapeyard.  A little event held in the area where the kids can get some more use out of their Halloween costumes.  They kids LOOOOOVED getting to wear their costumes before Halloween, and they had the BEST time!

The Singing Pumpkins
Oooooohhhh these pumpkins. All three kids gathered around these pumpkins and danced to Monster Mash and This is Halloween foreeeeeever!  It was good we were there early, before the crowds, because had all the room we wanted for dancing!

Leaving Was Hard ... Don't Think Rapunzel Realized We Were Leaving Yet!

The kids' preschool had lots of fun activities planned for Halloween Week also.

The girls still don't know how they feel about school .....

Coincidently we had to run a hockey related errand for Daddy, and these kiddos found hockey sticks just their size!

We Are the Champions!

We started the day on Halloween Eve at Gamma and Poppy's house!  Gamma let us practice Trick-or-Treating before the big day.  And I think it helped! They kids did GREAT the next night!

Once we got back home we carved our pumpkins (all hands on duty for that little project ... so no pictures of the work in progress.  AKA Mommy and Daddy doing all the work and making the kids stay away from the mess!)  And then we had a dinner picnic in the dark while we watched Spookly the Pumpkin!
I Think It's Safe To Say ... The Kids Were READY for Halloween the Next Day!
