Pumpkin Season!

I love all things FALL!  The cooler temperatures (well ... if Texas weather gets the memo that it's actually fall, we'll get some cooler temps!), the pumpkins, pumpkin BREAD, the hundreds of fun activities of the kids, and the excitement in the air that marks the official beginning of the holiday season.

We are pretty close to a couple of cute pumpkin patches, so we spent some time visiting all the "punkins" in the area.  The kids LOOOOOOOVE pumpkins.  

Our usual go to is Hall's Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze.  So we started there.

On a whim, we met some friends at the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch.  My kids were completely mesmerized by all the character cutouts they had set up.  They kept running from one charcter to the next, jumping up and down and yelling, "Take my picture Mommy!  Take my picture with Elsa!  Take my picture with Bob the Tomato!  Mommmmyyy!!! It's Paw-Patrol!  TAKE MY PICTURE!"  These three are usually a little picture resistant .... so this was hysterical.

We kept waiting for the weather to cool off to take our annual pumpkin patch pictures.  But that never happened.  So we braved the 90 degree heat and heavy crowds so I could take a few pics of the kids.

I mean.  I can't.  I Love These Pumpkins.

We love a good pumpkin patch.  And I'm sad to see them go :(  We have to wait a whole year before they reopen again in the fall.  But Christmas fun is right around the corner!!!!
