Love Day!

Valentine's Day 2015 was actually a week filled with some fun and some sweet surprises.

While this cutie celebrated Pink Day and Had a Valentine's Party at School ...

... the Littles posed for pictures in their own pink clothes.
It's hard to capture both of them smiling at the camera at the same time.

Although This One Seems to be the Most Telling of Their Little Personalities

When we got to school, Aunt Mary surprised us with cookies.  So naturally I used them to bribe the kids to take a sweet picture for me!

 Sweet Little Valentines

Gamma surprised the kids with some Valentine treats when we got back home.

 Extra Big Rattles ;)

The boys picked out some pretty flowers for us girls, and we all got sweet cards that Barrett couldn't wait to show us!

Getting His Valentine's Cards Ready

Mommy's Little Valentine

Barrett and I spent the afternoon baking treats for everyone. I love those times when just the two of us get to make stuff in the kitchen. It doesn't happen that often these days.

Our Favorite Part: Licking the Bowl

I surprised the kids with a little Valentine themed dinner.  Pizza Roses!  The kids loved them. And the heart shaped blondies that Barrett and I made earlier in the afternoon.  (Thanks Trader Joes for the yummy/easy mix!)

Close Up
I'm pretty proud of myself for this one!  Not only did I totally pull them off.  But they were super easy too.  Double win! I got the recipe here: Pretty Cheese Pizza Roses.  And the kids loved it!

Once the kids went to bed, we had a meal by ourselves!  Without telling anybody to get back in their chair, pick up sippy cups, or clean up food that was thrown dropped on the floor.  We get those moments, in our own house, about once a year. Maybe

Happy Valentines Day!
